Bespoke

OFFICIALLY LUXURY ROYAL ART BY THE KING OF ART™

Bespoke Art & Frames by Cosmo du Mont

Custom-made by the Cosmo du Mont group

For the right price you can really get almost anything at the King of Art. His wealthy art collectors appreciate this very much and sometimes develop strange ideas that fulfill their curious customer wishes. That's very nice, because in these very special cases the King of Art actually does commissioned work. And they then go down in history as "Bespoke Art" - and thus in the artist's catalog raisonné.

Celebrations of Originality

One of One

This means that both the individual works of art that need to be created are discussed in detail, as well as their completion, which can be found in unique framing, for example. Unique also because they are really only produced once. This makes it possible to respond to the exquisite ideas of each individual collector in a very special way.

It often even happens that the King of Art is commissioned to design entire objects, such as real estate, cars, yachts or private jets, which all become total works of art in the artist's handwriting and emphasize the exquisite taste of their owners, their status celebrate and increase their fortunes considerably.

This species of art lovers attaches great importance to discretion and privacy and is usually happy that only they, their families and a select circle of their closest friends enjoy it.

It goes without saying that everyone respects their wish that the final works of art should not be published at all, because they are treating themselves to intimate moments of their love of art for a lot of money.

That is probably the very special thing about this type of status symbol - because they are status symbols that are only reserved for an extremely small, hand-picked circle of those in the know.

But there may also be quite practical reasons for this restraint - which almost borders on understatement: The avoidance of envy and the defense against criminal desires.

In rare individual cases, however, collectors exceptionally grant permission to describe at least a few words of some of the excellent works created in this way.

Special thanks go to these understanding collectors, because this makes it possible to describe here with a few examples what is possible.

Maybe some of the collectors are eccentric,

the works of the master are definitely excellent.

Framing a work of art is like a hug from the artist.

Bespoke Rooms

Meetingpoints

The King of Art literally offers "room for creativity" in its deluxe meeting rooms, in which its art collectors can be inspired and almost become artists themselves.

The path to paradise leads well-heeled art enthusiasts from all over the world to the Kingdom of Art. The luxury carriages glide along idyllic, palm-lined boulevards to the Palace of the King of Art. Hidden behind high hedges on his park-like property is an ensemble of modern glass buildings. They lie there with green flat roofs, as if thrown there by an artist's hand. Amidst neatly trimmed trees and ornamental shrubs, accessible via a wide driveway that ends in a roundabout. White pebbles adorn the shoulders of the driveways and colorful flower beds are pleasing to the eye. This is where the King of Art resides and where he creates every day the finest of all luxury works of art that justify his fame. In addition, the already outrageously expensive works of art by the recording artist are individually refined here. Anyone who wants to own a particularly rare work of art as a one-off will be looked after by the so-called "Bespoke" department in the Kingdom of Art.

Nine out of ten customers do not want an off-the-peg work of art - which sounds strange, because works of art are generally considered to be individual per se.

Individualization is just as important for the brand as it is for the customer. A good 90 percent of buyers want to give "their" work of art their own touch, which is not to be found in the art guru's price list. Some simply want a different paint finish on the picture frames or colored leather stitching if the frames are upholstered in leather. Especially for more special requirements, however, one should travel directly to the Art Factory in the Kingdom of Art, to the specialists of the "Bespoke" departments. Being able to talk to the designers and artisans who work here is a unique experience and a service that only the Artist Star can offer.

Customers who want more than just an off-the-peg work of art are welcomed in the cosmically furnished "Bespoke Room".

Blue sofas exude the gentle scent of the finest leather, on the wall a shelf full of illustrated books, a bust of the company founder is enthroned on a column, an artistically refined electric guitar is emblazoned on the wall and many other curiosities from the artist's life's work are on display. Before the "Bespoke" department makes any suggestions, they want to find out how buyers intend to use their works of art.

Will they display their achievements or should their trophies be kept under lock and key? Is it only about a single purchase or should this investment even be part of an entire collection?

The team of color experts, technical consultants and designers aim to fulfill every special request. This can be a completely new format of what is commonly understood as picture frames. The topic can also be the staging of the family crest on the frame. Or should it be diamonds worked into the frame?

The price? - Incidental! We don't talk about money here. Anyone who makes it into the "Bespoke Room" has had enough of it.

A bright pink frame?

No problem!

Some buyers know exactly what they want. An eccentric, American furniture manufacturer, multi-millionaire and art collector, for example, loves bright colors. The 100,000 colors in the company catalog are not enough for him. He has just ordered his first "Bespoke" work of art from the King of Art in the bright pink of a fuchsia blossom that he found on the beach.

The cosmic-royal team was also satisfied by the American, who wanted the inlaid frame of her artwork to match the reddish brown of her setter exactly. A chemist came along to mix the color and scanned the dog with a color spectrometer.

Beautiful, colorful world

Any individual painting is feasible

Other customers are undecided and don't know what can be done. You ask them about their hobbies and preferences, about things or dates that are important in their lives. Do you have preferences? Do you also collect cars or fine jewelry, for example? Could this be linked to the design of the new work of art? With King of Art, they build a story around the artwork, so the artwork becomes part of the client's story.

Sometimes an astronomer is commissioned to research the starry sky for the daughter's date and place of birth. To recreate the constellation with LEDs in the context of the artwork.

The individual department is almost always about design, optics, colour, surface and effect, sometimes also about technology. In four years of work, the "Bespoke Team" has just given a work of art a kind of boat deck frame, modeled on the deck of the owner's mega yacht.

The frame of the "Sweptail" work of art alone cost several million, making it one of the most expensive frames in modern times. At least its owner, a British businessman, isn't locking it away in a free trade zone art storage facility. The department knows that the artwork went on a journey after delivery. Photos of the artwork have been seen at the art collector's properties in Buenos Aires, Abu Dhabi and London.

Frames are

essential parts of a work of art

They limit the artwork,

but their design is limitless

On request, stars shine in the picture frame. Thousands of light guides are laid by hand for this purpose. Sometimes 13 cow skins are processed in a single, oversized frame.

After tea, biscuits and champagne sandwiches, visitors are led into the cosmic studio. On the wall in a glass gallery, highly polished, handy frame models are presented, which can be put together in any color combination. Next to it is a hodgepodge of spindles with colored threads. Fabric and leather samples are stacked in the drawers of a huge wooden table. Alligator skins cost 10,000 US dollars each, crocodiles, sharks, stingrays, there are no limits to your imagination. Leather is still considered the ultimate luxury product.

The following applies:

No animal has to

for a painting frame

des King of Art sterben.

Only animal skins from animals that have already died of natural causes are used. Of course, that alone makes the procurement of materials extremely difficult and correspondingly expensive. In addition, the skins must not have the smallest defect, such as scars or the like.

Such skins are

rarer, than gold & diamonds.

Both the origin and the supply chains, including finishing and processing, are documented in detail in the papers accompanying the cosmic artworks.

Countless skins are needed to cover the approx. 460 individual parts of an average-sized frame. Everything is laser cut by machine. But quality control always remains the task of the experts, because the eye is simply better than any camera.

It goes without saying that other materials can also be processed. The demand is gigantic. Individual wishes are rarely repeated, such as that of a buyer of a work of art who had its frame covered in thick sheep's wool. He had a carpet made from the same material. It is now in front of the wall on which the work of art is enthroned. So that his dog can lie comfortably on it while his master sits in the armchair next to him with a good cognac in his snifter when he looks at his painting.

One of the bigger challenges, however, was the commission to upholster a picture frame with hand-painted Chinese silk and border the edge with white leather upholstery. For the artwork "Serenity" (in German: serenity) it was necessary to paint and embroider hundreds of blossoms as accurately as the painting itself shows, so that everything appears as one piece. You can't simply replace leather with silk, because it reacts optically in a completely different way. The cosmic royal team had to reinvent the way frames are usually designed. That only worked because the craftsmen understand the materials. Their experience is the greatest treasure of cosmic manufacture.

Handmade

Wood inlays with a depth effect

The head of the wood department sees it that way too. Their specialty is surfaces that appear three-dimensional. For the inlays, wood is sawn at different angles and put together like a puzzle with different grains. The head of department shows samples of a picture frame on which ships inflate their sails. A music lover had a picture frame made with aluminum sheet music from a composition by Johannes Brahms. The latest highlight, however, are fine light-emitting diodes laid in the wood, so that the picture frames or their side panels appear to be illuminated from behind.

The grain is what matters,

then the inlays get a depth effect

In the cosmic studio, the idea also came up of covering the space between the huge frame of a masterpiece, between the frame and the work of art, with glass and then transforming it into a gallery itself. "A Moment in Time" is the title of the work of art, in whose 25 centimeter deep glass case a corrugated aluminum sculpture appears to be gliding through sapphire-blue water like a piece of fabric. In the meantime, such sealed frames are manufactured according to customer requirements in a specially built, dust-free production room.

Hardly any other manufacturer affords so many wood, lacquer or leather experts. The market is small and elitist, so you attract young people and bind them to the company. We work in small teams and there is a family atmosphere. Of course, the dream of their own cosmic work of art remains unfulfilled for the employees. But at least they can marvel at masterpieces from the comic collections in the original from time to time. This gives them a feel for the finished product. Every employee should know the cosmic life's work in order to be able to enthusiastically identify with the brand. This is one of the reasons why the painted blanks of the frames are polished by hand for many hours before they make their way through production. Clean in, clean out, that's the motto. The employees then have more respect for the art and thus also for their own work.

At the handover, the top designers and their privileged customers meet again, and the artist himself is usually present. When the King of Art then opens the stylish high-security safe in the Bespoke Room and hands over the ownership documents, accompanying papers and other documentation, such as a DVD of the frame construction work and the actual creation of the work of art, to the customer alongside the painting itself, then that was it their hunt for a new trophy of their passion for collecting has been crowned with success and they have truly achieved their own personal bliss in their ornate collector's paradise.

On special request, there is of course a personal delivery service including hanging in local areas. Then the handover ceremony is celebrated on site.

Deliveries are made at close range in armored special transporters, which are accompanied by plant security, the so-called art bodyguards. If the delivery address is far away, the company jet will be launched.

Art Factories

Sacred halls

Hallow be his name. His kingdom come. His will be done.

A slogan could go something like this. The Art Factories of the King of Art are the hallowed halls of his empire, here he grows rich and here his will is done. They are the holy grail in the empire of his art universe. Here the `Bespoke Art´ discussed with his art collectors is realized. This is where the most valuable picture frames on the art market are made, and this is where the most renowned artisans who work for the King of Art Group work.

Materials science

Inner values

Making the best of something is most successful when the raw materials are of the finest. Selecting only the best of the best is therefore essential to create the best products in the world.

Innovation

The King of Art appreciates the reliability of proven manufacturing techniques, but has relied on innovative production methods and the latest material developments since the company was founded in order to be able to optimally implement the constantly increasing demands on all components. However, before new processes and materials are used, they are extensively tested and the employees are trained accordingly, because reliability is one of the cosmic quality features.

Quality

King of Art products are not only state of the art, but also adhere to strict standards to consistently ensure the highest quality. And quality is not a question of size, because whether small or large, all King of Art production forms meet the very highest standards. Durability and the highest precision are just as much a part of this as the flexible and fast implementation of individual customer wishes.

Experience

A major advantage is the close cooperation between the King of Art Group and the most successful companies in the aerospace industry. The close cooperation with highly specialized yacht and aircraft shipyards, as well as car manufacturers and the resulting possible use of years of experience from the high-tech area of the partner companies in all areas of the most modern manufactories guarantees the quality, because also for yachts, planes and cars are light weight and high strength are the keys to success.

Carbon frame

Hi Tech!

Hello high tech! The carbon frames of the King of Art's 'Bespoke' collection present themselves as light, indestructible and in an irresistibly fast outfit. Made for eternity in timeless beauty, they are predestined for works of art that are primarily exhibited in private aircraft and mega yachts.

Carbon is a composite material in which carbon fibers are embedded in a plastic matrix. The matrix serves to connect the fibers and to fill the gaps.

Carbon is used in particular where the increased costs are accepted for low mass and high rigidity at the same time. Components made of fiber-reinforced materials are expensive to produce compared to metal components of the same strength. They are therefore primarily used in areas in which their advantages (usually weight savings) result in at least a correspondingly high cost-saving potential, such as in the aerospace industry or in yacht and aircraft construction.

Carbon consists of carbon fibers embedded in a synthetic resin matrix. The mechanical properties of the hardened composite benefit primarily from the tensile strength and rigidity of the carbon fibers. The matrix prevents the fibers from shifting against each other under load. To do this, the matrix must adhere to the fiber, otherwise the components will fail due to fiber pull-out.

The strength and rigidity of a material made of carbon are significantly higher in the direction of the fibers than across the direction of the fibers. The strength across the grain is lower than that of an unreinforced matrix. Therefore z. T. individual fiber layers laid in different directions. The fiber directions are determined by the designer to achieve the desired strength and stiffness. The entire design of a component is usually supported by calculations based on the classic laminate theory.

Compared to materials such as steel, carbon has a significantly lower density (~ factor 4.3). Depending on the fiber type, their weight-specific stiffness in the direction of the fibers is somewhat (approx. 10-15%) or even significantly (roughly a factor of 2) higher than steel. This creates a very rigid material that is particularly suitable for applications with a main load direction, where low mass and high rigidity are important.

Porcelain coated artwork frame

Hard shell - soft core?!

Delicate, powerful & beautiful

The outer skin alone of the magnificent frame that adorns the King of Art's masterpiece 'L'Or Blanc' is a work of art in itself and a grandiose masterpiece of craftsmanship. It took the cosmic design team several months to visually "flow" the natural light reflections across the frame in sweeping curves and intricate lines. These were then hand-painted in vibrant shades of blue. The frame then received five coats of clear lacquer. Pure cosmic flowing was implemented here in the most modern design. In the frame, twelve additional elements made of the finest porcelain complete the artistic character of this Grand Elegance. In addition to the signed porcelain inlays on the frame, there is even a distinctive porcelain inlay on the back wall. Like the porcelain elements on the front, it is also decorated with the relief of the artist's famous dancing lettering.

Special frames for yachts & airplanes? Hi Tech!

Champagne & table in an artwork frame

Where can you find something like that? - At the King of Art!

For the love of detail

Are these still frames or is it already art? The Maestro creates new framework conditions in the luxury art trade. As is well known, the custom-made products created by the King of Art are unparalleled in the industry. Never before have there been picture frames, with fold-out tables on which admirers of his artwork can place their champagne glasses to celebrate the masterpieces.

Speaking of decadence in abundance: there is even a monumental picture frame with a built-in minibar for champagne. So the vernissages can come.

Celestial

The stars - artwork frame

Diamonds glitter not only in the work of art itself, but also in the frame.

Simply unbelievable, this luxury: In a special version of the king-of-art picture frame, which was baptized with the beautiful name "Celestial", art lovers take a seat under a picture of the sky that is covered with 11,111 diamonds. A further 1,111 high carats can be found in the frame alone.

Who can afford such a thing? Most likely the richest sons of the desert who live next door to the King of Art. That's where the Bespoke "Celestial" was handed over. Even by King of Art standards, this enchanting work of art is unusually exquisite.

Obviously, the King of Art has a distinctly romantic streak. Many years ago, on May 5, 1982, the first luxury work of art by the home and yard supplier to the beautiful and rich was handed over to its owners. That was - very solemn, very festive - at midnight. And marks a seminal moment in the history books of the fine arts haute couture classy brand. It is important to celebrate this with every new work of art of "Bespoke" individualization.

Diamonds everywhere

Additional shiny diamond chips in the paint

Measuring over 10 meters wide and based on the "Extended Framebase", much of the luxury artwork harks back to the midnight moment of May 1982. "Celestial" could be roughly translated as "heavenly". And so the ink-blue paint should evoke associations with the night sky: the finest particles of diamond chips have also been integrated to achieve a particularly intense shine effect. The finish is completed by a 10-fold, naturally applied, high-gloss finish. The edges are finished with leather armchairs. The work of art is intended - quote King of Art - to remind of the "magnificence of a cloudless night sky". But that is by no means enough of the nocturnal attitude.

Starry sky in historical constellation

11,111 diamonds and more than a million optical fibers glitter in front of the astonished art lovers.

Gold threads also connect the stars of the zodiac signs

The literal highlight of the "Celestial" is the depiction of the starry sky at night. A total of 11,111 sparkling diamonds have been integrated there in extremely careful manual work. They are literally made to glitter by more than a million optical fibers. The King of Art also assures that the constellation of the "starry sky" corresponds exactly to that of the "historic evening" of 1982. This was also verified by the South Downs Planetarium in Chichester, UK.

Home sweet Home

Customer motto: My Castle is my Palace

The new home of the "Celestial by King of Art" is in the private quarters of a palace. The delivery was carried out by the artist's in-house security guards, who border on a heavily armed private army and are described by the maestro as self-confident and romantic as "art bodyguards". The work of art will most likely never come out of the golden cage. It would be a literal sensation on the art market if photos were to appear or even be shown publicly. The value is considered inestimable and "Celestial" would probably be priceless in a re-sale.

Customizing par excellence

"King of Art" is when all customer wishes come true

In any case, the "Bespoke" works of art cannot simply be bought. In order to prevent spectacular speculation, an application by the art collector-to-be with a CV and references to previous King-of-Art art purchases is mandatory. Only those who are approved may buy. Resales are contractually completely excluded during a long blocking period. Even an attempt to violate these regulations will be sanctioned by the King of Art with a lifelong ban on further art purchases. This is how the King of Art creates a reputation like Donnerhall.

Multifunctional picture frames

Integrated minibar and picnic table

And should the astonished art lovers with exquisite taste feel like toasting with champagne in front of the heavenly painting, "Celestial" makes that possible too. There is a minibar on board the frame, so to speak, and picnic tables fold down out of the frame. they, too, address the constellation of the stars.

The price of the exquisite Celestial, which has been upgraded by the cosmic Bespoke customization program, is not disclosed. And for those who want their very own starry sky made of diamonds, it shouldn't matter.

Stars - Artwork Frame Making of Celestial

Bespoke Art by King of Art

Examples of cosmic custom-made products

Million-Stitch-Rose

If you have a passion for flowers, you buy a bouquet now and then and drape it on a pretty place in your apartment arranged with crocheted doilies. If you have a passion for flowers and lots of money, you order a work of art from the King of Art, who takes up the theme in a manner befitting the occasion. At least, that's what a Lebanese-born entrepreneur working in Europe did when he had a very special work of art made with an accompanying frame. The work was christened "Million-Stitch Rose" because the frame was generously decorated with embroidered roses. In fact, exactly one million needle stitches were placed in the embroidery.

Digital Soul

In the "digital soul model", patterns were generated from digital data using an algorithm. Although the King of Art always tries very hard to appear as a very traditional entrepreneur who, in addition to artistic skill, also attaches great importance to craftsmanship, the topic of "digitization" is not absent here either. However, the artist cleverly links this with his own values.

With his frames, the artist becomes the product designer. He came up with the idea of translating an algorithm of digital data into a wide band of 3D-printed steel blocks for the "Digital Soul" artwork. These were then polished by hand in the frame and covered with 24 carat gold.

Eagle VIII

The theme of the "Eagle VIII" artwork is the first transatlantic nonstop flight of 1919. This special edition King-of-Art artwork thematizes the first transatlantic nonstop flight made in 1919 in a Vicker Vimy with the Rolls-Royce engine "Eagle VIII". Because radio and navigation systems had failed in the meantime, Captain John Alock and navigator Arthur Brown oriented themselves to the stars and thus successfully guided the plane from Newfoundland to Ireland. Brass accents on the frame of the "Wraith Eagle VIII" recall the sextant once used. The biggest eye-catcher, however, is the view from the aircraft of the Earth at night, which is reproduced on the frame. For this, the specialists working for the King of Art vacuum-metallized smoked eucalyptus wood with gold and then inlaid it in silver and copper. Topping it all off are 1,183 LEDs arranged in the frame exactly as the stars were during the flight. Woven brass threads show the constellations.

Bayside Dawn Aero Cowling

Bayside Dawn Aero Cowling artwork is inspired by yachts and speedboats. An art collector of the works of the King of Art from Yokohama, Japan, wanted to commemorate the seafaring tradition of his hometown with the purchase of his work of art at the same time. Accordingly, the design of the frame of "Bayside Dawn Aero Cowling" was inspired by yachts and speedboats. Open-pored teak wood acts as an imitation of a ship's deck. The color scheme of blue and white is intended to evoke the blue sea and the many boats with white sails in Yokohama Bay.

Arabian Gulf

Mother-of-pearl inlays are framed by a silk sculpture depicting the swells of the Arabian Gulf. The artwork, with the resonant name "Arabian Gulf," celebrates the tradition of pearl diving in the Middle East. This is reflected in the two-tone finish of the frame. In addition, a silk sculpture around a luxury watch set into the frame mimics the swell with mother-of-pearl inlays. Mother-of-pearl is also found on the fold-out tables, which are actually integrated into the opulent frame so that viewers can place their Chamgan glasses. Hand-painted and embroidered nautilus shells can be found on the frame as another decorative element.

Tranquillity

The "Tranquility" frame is - like the artwork itself - about "quiet". Light and dark tones refer to the light and dark side of the moon. It is often quoted that the only thing you are allowed to hear in a Rolls-Royce is the ticking of the analog clock (quote from the King of Art: "it's actually the turn signal!"). The work of art "Tranquility" deals with the theme of "quiet".

Compared to these hanging monumental works of art, even the serial works of art by the King of Art, which are already impressive in themselves, seem a bit pale. The above and other special designs reflect the position of the urbane luxury artist and his collectors on the art market.
